Mission

The BUETANA is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, an independent organization that connects the growing community of BUET Alumni of North America and around the globe. It will facilitate and strengthen the bond between BUETANA and its associated/interested entities providing an extensive alumni network, a platform for professional and educational development, intellectual enrichment and social experience. The organization is committed to assisting its members and their families in their profession, mentoring, education, job search through research, development, networking, friendship and social relations, as well as in philanthropic and charitable initiatives, wherever possible.

Vision

To be a dynamic professional community of BUET graduates that fosters interactions with its alumni and similar entities across North America, while promoting professional and social development of its members.

Goals

Our Motto: “STAY CONNECTED”.

  1. Establish a professional dynamic database and a forum for networking among its members to advance their professional interests.
  2. Establish a lifelong relationship with BUET and its Alumni throughout North America and the globe.
  3. Provide guidance to BUET alumni to pursue and advance their careers and facilitate the ‘subject-matter expertise’ of its members to be utilized by those who need.
  4. Provide a bridge between the academic and professional members of the Association in technical and business fields.
  5. Conduct technical discussions, lectures, and promote professional education, mentoring and networking.
  6. Support and organize professional/social events for the Alumni living in North America and elsewhere.
  7. Work closely with all regional BUET Alumni groups in North America, as well as the Alma Mater, the ABUETA and similar entities worldwide to advance educational cause.
  8. Contribute to the society with professional and ‘subject matter expertise’.
  9. Assist BUET alumni moving to and within North America with information and guidance.
  10. Recognize Alumni members for their exceptional contribution in professional and technical fields.
  11. Provide support to distressed alumni families through various means whenever possible.
  12. Provide technical/humanitarian support during any natural disaster.
  13. Provide technical and professional advice to Bangladesh government, legislature, technical societies, industry, institutions, and organizations, etc., as needed.
